Import products from WooCommerce to Shopify

Paste the product link from a WooCommerce store. Paid plans can also import a whole category or store, up to 250 products at a time.

How it works

Copy the product link

Open the product on the WooCommerce store and copy its address, for example store.com/product/linen-shirt/.

Paste it into ImportKite

In the app, open Import and paste the link. To bring a category or the whole store, use "Import a collection or store" and check the count first.

Review the draft

Check variants, prices and photos, set your price rule, and push the product to Shopify as a draft.

Build the product page

Pick a template and ImportKite writes the page from the product's real details. Edit anything, then publish.

What comes across

  • Title and full description
  • Variable products with their attributes (size, colour…) and each variation's own price, SKU and stock status
  • Sale prices, with the regular price as compare-at
  • Product photos and each variation's photo
  • Categories, tags and other attributes as specifications

Good to know

  • ImportKite reads the store's public Store API, which WooCommerce turns on by default. A store that has switched it off falls back to reading the product page.
  • A variation set to "any" value of an attribute becomes one variant per value, at that variation's price.
  • Up to 100 variations per product are read.

Then turn it into a page that sells

Importing is half the job. ImportKite writes a full product page for every product you bring in: benefits, comparison, FAQ, guarantees and Bundle & Save offers, in your store's theme.

WooCommerce import questions

Do I need access to the WooCommerce store?

No. ImportKite reads what the store shows publicly, the same as a shopper's browser.

Are prices converted?

Prices come across in the store's currency, and ImportKite converts them to yours with your price rule when you import.

Your next product page is one link away

Import a product, pick a template and see the page ImportKite writes for it. The Free plan is enough to try it.
